Health and Safety Files
Health and Safety Files are compiled incorporating designers information and detailed health and safety information specific to the completed installation. This will involve procuring relevant manufacturers' COSHH data sheets and method statements confirming safe systems of work. Project specific health and safety information shall be provided to ensure full compliance with the CDM Regulations 2007 (Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2007). |

Electrical and Mechanical Manuals All Operating and Maintenance Manuals are written and compiled fully in accordance with BSRIA industry standards and can be produced in both hard copy and any desired electronic format specified.
Electrical and Mechanical Manuals are produced incorporating detailed technical descriptions and operating instructions specific to the installation. This will involve procuring all related technical data sheets/technical publications for all specialist systems (e.g. fire alarm system, lighting control system, air handling plant, etc). Maintenance strategies shall also be provided complete with planned preventative maintenance schedules. Detailed plant & equipment schedules of systems/products with contact details for all associated manufacturers and suppliers. |

Building Log Books
Building Log Books are produced in accordance with CIBSE TM31 incorporating summarised technical descriptions, operating and maintenance information, energy design information, building fabric thermal insulation characteristics and calculations. The building log book shall also provide the facility to record maintenance, energy performance and changes to the building fabric, finishes and services. It will also provide a suitable centralised location for historical records of building alterations, maintenance, energy consumption profiles and CO2 emissions. |

Building Manuals (Building Fabrics & Finishes)
Building Manuals are compiled incorporating detailed technical descriptions and operating instructions specific to the installation. This will involve procuring all related technical data sheets/technical publications for all specialist systems (e.g. roof coverings, suspended ceiling systems, soft and hard floor coverings, etc.). Maintenance strategies shall also be provided complete with planned preventative maintenance schedules. Detailed material schedules of systems/products with contact details for all associated manufacturers and suppliers. |

Draughting of CAD Drawings
Using our AutoCAD experience and engineering ability, Armtec Media offers CAD services for all types of application ranging from updating CAD drawings to ‘As Installed’ status to generating detailed CAD drawings from marked-up hand drawn sketches provided.
Using our wide format printer, Armtec Media can output CAD drawings in hard copy format (A0, A1, A2, etc) as required. All hard copy drawings can be folded to A4, sleeved and incorporated in the O&M manuals. Drawings in electronic format can be emailed out or saved onto CD depending on your particular requirements. Drawings are usually presented in either DWG, DWF, DXF or PDF, again this will depend on your particular needs.
Our service also includes paper to CAD conversion by scanning your drawings and converting to DXF or DWG format. Drawings in DWF format can also be converted to DWG to facilitate updating in AutoCAD. |

Site Surveys of Engineering Services
Site surveys of existing mechanical and electrical systems can be undertaken and used for the basis of producing Operating & Maintenance Manuals, Building Log Books and CAD drawings. The surveys can be limited to a walk-through survey of the mechanical and electrical installations to fully detailed surveys including recording the location and dimensions of all plant, equipment and associated pipework/ductwork routes. |
